Battlefield 6 has seen some amazing success so far, with numerous players being excited for the series’ return since it was announced. Hype around the game was understandably high, and the enthusiasm shone through during the open beta, with thousands of players joining and massive queues that took a while to get through. With the beta being a success, it wasn’t a surprise to see Battlefield 6 take off immediately after launch. It looks as though the team being the game isn’t done yet, however, because a recent datamine revealed what seems to be six more game modes that could be added to the game.

Battlefield 6 Datamine Reveals Additional Game Modes

Mike Straw from InsiderGaming reported about six additional game modes that were datamined in Battlefield 6. The report shared the following strings of code that show additional game modes in the game’s files:

  • Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/Raid/Mode/MUT_Raid
  • Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/Payload/Mode/MUT_Payload
  • Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/Sabotage/Mode/MUT_Sabotage
  • Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/SquadShootout/Mode/MUT_SquadShootout
  • Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/Strikepoint/Mode/MUT_Strikepoint
  • Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/TankHunt/Mode/MUT_TankHunt

The game modes that could be added to Battlefield 6 are Raid, Payload, Sabotage, Squad Shootout, Strikepoint, and Tank Hunt. Players are already aware of the game modes called Strikepoint and Sabotage, as these are planned to be released on October 28 and November 18. Both game modes will be added as part of the game’s first season, with Strikepoint being added during Rogue Ops and Sabotage being added during California Resistance.

Since the two game modes have already been confirmed, it is only a matter of time before players get a look at the other game modes in the files. Unfortunately, EA has not mentioned anything about the additional game modes, so there is no way of knowing if these are maybe leftovers from the game’s development. Still, it is nice to see that Battlefield may be getting more game modes in the future, giving players more options to choose from when joining in on the game’s multiplayer.
