Battlefield 6 wicked grin skin

Battlefield 6 has been doing amazing since it was released earlier this month. Many have praised the game for being more grounded than its competitor, Call of Duty, which many agree has gone too far with collaborations and unrealistic skins. Before launch, the Battlefield 6 developers said that they would be keeping the game’s skins realistic. Well, many believe that time is already over 18 days after launch, and it is all thanks to one of the season one skins dubbed ‘Wicked Grin.’ Some are even threatening not to revive teammates who are wearing this skin.

Battlefield 6 Skin Causes Contention Among Fans

DICE unveiled the skins for Battlefield 6 season one, and fans are unhappy with a few of them, but one in particular has truly angered the fans. The community was quick to single out the skin called ‘Wicked Grin.’ In a post by Ohforfk on the Battlefield Subreddit, the user complained that the soldiers would no longer be wearing matching uniforms, referring to games as “paintball or ASG” events.

Multiple skins in the season one reveal had brighter colors, including one with neon yellow accents and another with sections of bright orange. Overall, each of the skins looks far more realistic than anything produced by the game’s competitors. Some said that this is comparable to games like Fortnite, but those skins have reached the realm of impossibility with crossovers.

Some pointed out that the skin looks similar to urban camo and that it wasn’t a big deal for it to be in the game. Others stated that they didn’t mind the new skins because they just make enemies easier to see. Either way, there is a lot of disdain for the season one skins, with some saying that they are not willing to revive teammates who are wearing skins with brighter colors.
