Fallout day has come and gone, and there was surprisingly little to be shared about the beloved series. Burning Springs has now been added to Fallout 76, the Fallout Day sale is long gone, and fans are still not too thrilled about the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition. The biggest question on everyone’s minds was when they would finally get remasters of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. Unfortunately, we don’t have the answer to that question, but Todd Howard is aware of the comments and says that Bethesda is “working on a whole bunch of stuff.”
There is More to Come From the Fallout Series
Todd Howard recently had a chat with Dexerto, which was posted on X by ScreenTime, where Todd Howard alluded to there being more coming for the Fallout series. Todd Howard was asked, “Is there anything you can say about them?” This was asked regarding many fans commenting about the potential Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas remasters.
In response, Howard said, “We see all those comments.” He then went on to say, “Just to let people know, we see it, we are working on a whole bunch of stuff, and we look forward to the day we can reveal them.”
Of course, Bethesda is known to be working on the next iteration of the Elder Scrolls series, but there is plenty about Fallout that fans don’t know about. Word has gone around about the potential remasters for a long time, and many think that they will be shadow-dropped, much like Bethesda did for the Oblivion Remaster.
“I prefer to wait,” Howard said later in his response. He also said he likes “the moment you learn about something,” and that Bethesda doesn’t “talk about stuff for years.” Again, this does not mean that there are currently any plans for remasters of Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but it does show that Bethesda is listening to fans and there is some consideration there.
