No one craves attention like Gaston. Now that he is feeling settled in the Valley and Eternity Isle, he wants to regain his social clout. To do that, Gaston needs your help to rebuild his lodge. It is pretty rundown and there is a lot of work to be done in this Center of Attention quest guide.
There are plenty of quests to complete in Eternity Isle and Dreamlight Valley. If you are tired of Gaston’s ego, you can always go help out EVE with the New Directive quest. Get ready to do some backbreaking labor for Gaston since he can’t do it himself. Here is your Center of Attention quest guide for Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Disney Dreamlight Valley – Center of Attention quest walkthrough
Center of Attention is Gaston’s level two friendship quest. This is unlocked after unlocking the Wastes in the Glittering Dunes. After this, meet Gaston at his lodge in The Wastes. Once there, talk to him to get your first tasks.
- Dig up the sand piles
- Revert the ruined portrait
Use your shovel to get rid of the sand piles in the lodge and then interact with the portrait in the back to repair it. Once that is done, talk to Gaston. You will now need to collect the following gemstones:
- Alexandrite
- Spinel
- Jade
Alexandrite can be found by mining in The Wastes or The Oasis, Spinel is found by mining in The Promenade or The Grove, and Jade is obtained by mining in The Courtyard or The Overlook. You only need one of each gemstone. Bring the gemstones to Scrooge.
Scrooge will give you a Gastonian Chair and a Crafte of Furniture in exchange for the gems. These are just some of the materials needed to fix the lodge. Overall, you need the following items:
- Crate of Gastonian Furniture
- Gaston’s Antler Chair
- Copper
- Oasis Glass
- Tropical Wood
Provided you aren’t plagued by the Tropical Wood not spawning glitch, you can find the wood in the Wild Tangle. Copper can be mined in Ancient’s Landing and Oasis Glass can be obtained by digging in the Glittering Dunes. Oasis Glass may take a while to obtain since bones and sand are also found in the area.
Once you get all of the items on the list, bring them to Gaston. After a brief conversation, meet Gaston over by his lodge. Once there, interact with the Scrooge McDuck Sign to repair the lodge. Head inside and talk to Gaston again. He will give you the Freezer of Infinite Meat Schematics. You now need to get the parts for the freezer. Do this by using your Royal Hourglass in the following areas:
- Lower Grasslands
- Upper Grasslands
- The Grove
With all the pieces in your inventory, go to a Timebending Table and craft the Freezer of Infinite Meat. Give Gaston the freezer and then head to The Wastes. Interact with the Scrooge McDuck sign in front of Gaston’s old stall to re-open it. Now that the stall is re-opened, you need to make some meat-based meals for Gaston.
How to make Meat-Based Meals
Meat-based meals in Disney Dreamlight Valley are any meals where meat is the star. These include:
- Meat Pie – Meat, Butter, Wheat
- Meaty Taco – Venison, Chili Pepper, Corn, Vegetable, Cumin
- Royal Burger – Venison, Pork, Wheat, Vegetable, Cheese
- Sausage and Sauerkraut Platter – Pork, Cabbage, Potato
- Schnitzel – Poultry, Wheat, Canola
- Shish Taouk – Poultry, Lemon, Garlic, Rice, Oregano
- Sweet and Sour Stir-Fry – Poultry, Dreamango, Pineapple, Canola, Broccoli
- Tandoori Chicken – Chili Pepper, Poultry, Cumin, Paprika
- Tourtiére – Venison, Wheat, Potato, Vegetable
- Turkey Leg – Poultry, Cumin, Agave, Paprika
- Turnip Tartiflette – Pork, Turnip, Cheese
- Shawarma – Venison, Lemon, Rice, Cinnamon, Garlic
- Yakisoba, Pork, Wheat, Cabbage
Once you have made enough of these meals, bring them to Gaston’s lodge and give them to Gaston. After handing the meals over, start mingling with the guests that he invited over. Once you are done with that, talk to Gaston to finally complete the quest.
