A number of people are excited for Aladdin and Jasmine to potentially find their way to Dreamlight Valley or rather Eternity Isle. While many want this addition, there are fans who think that other characters are more deserving of their spot in the game. The Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time expansion added multiple characters to the game including Gaston, Rapunzel, EVE, and Jafar with Jafar being the main villain of the new story.
As revealed in the roadmap for 2024, Jafar’s story will come to a close in the summer as we “foil his schemes.” This is the perfect time to add the beloved Disney duo of Agrabah but it could be time to add someone else, namely another well-known Disney Duo.
User Rainbow_Luigi26 on Reddit asked if the “Summer expansion will bring Aladdin and Jasmine.” Naturally, many people agree with the user and assume that the pair will appear in the upcoming update for the expansion. However, some believe Milo and Kida deserve the spot instead. One user commented, “Even though Jafar is the main DLC villain I feel like it’s more Atlantis-themed, so I’m hoping for Kida and Milo!”
Other users agreed with this statement and pointed out that Atlantian iconography has been in the game since day one so it is about time the pair appear in the game. Another user commented, “It’s the spring update that keeps me thinking it’s more Atlantis too! Though it would be weird if Aladdin wasn’t added but I agree the classic Princess’ should be [in the] base game.” They make an excellent point that most of the princesses have been introduced to the main game so there is a chance that a not-as-popular princess such as Kida would appear in the DLC. Hopefully, we can get a bit of a surprise later this year and see the iconic duo make an appearance outside of Atlantis.
