Updates for Disney Dreamlight Valley have been frequent with at least one update coming each season since the game entered early access. With the full release of the game, we have seen an increase in updates this year. Since the game left early access, we have seen the Rift in Time expansion, Beauty and the Beast, and even Monsters Inc characters appear. Now, we are finally getting part two of the paid expansion and it is called The Spart of Imagination.
Earlier, we predicted that Oswald The Lucky Rabbit would get added to Disney Dreamlight Valley in the next update and it turns out to be true. The Spark of Imagination update for A Rift in Time will feature the old-timey character as confirmed in the teaser trailer posted on the Disney Dreamlight Valley X page. No other characters were announced at this time but the devs did state that the “first look” trailer will be released this Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
The short 30-second trailer shows the player character along with Merlin, Rapunzel, and Gaston entering the large doorway between the waterfalls in Eternity Isle. Inside, we get the first glimpse of Oswald as he runs around the ruins, avoiding the player character. We then see a shot of him with what appears to be a musical puzzle that we may need to solve during this story segment.
The Dreamlight Valley devs responded to some questions about the upcoming DLC by stating, “Wednesday will provide players with a first look at the next free content update and Act II of the expansion pass!” Not only will we see more about what is to come with the paid expansion, but we will also get to see what we believe will be the addition of Daisy Duck in the base game. Remember, this is only part two of three parts that are to come. We predict that part three will include Aladdin and Jasmine.
