To start this quest, you must speak with Geoffrey at the Borderwatch Outpost. He can be found right outside of the inn after spending your first night. He should speak with you automatically like he did with us.
Geoffrey will ask you to track down Markus and deliver a list of supplies. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, it is. If you head north of the encampment to the small river section where you fought the goblins, you will find Markus gathering ingredients up on the hill. When you give him the mention of extra ingredients, he will task you with collecting them. Now you must search for Harspuds and craft some Salubrious Draught.
How to make Salubrious Draught in Dragon’s Dogma 2
For starters, to make Salubrious Draught, you need to combine Greenwarish with either Blueberries, Raspberries, or Apples. We got apples from the goblins we fought earlier so we only needed the Greenwarish. You can find each of these ingredients growing in the area around where Markus is searching. We were able to find some Greenwarish very quickly.
Where to find Harspuds in Dragon’s Dogma 2
The other item on the list is Harspuds. To get this ingredient, you must go to the south of the Borderwatch Outpost. You should be able to find Harspuds quite easily near the encampment but don’t be afraid to wander a bit in your search since it is a big area. We found this ingredient near the encampment along a cliff.
Once you have three Harspuds and two Salubrious Draughts, you can bring them to Markus and deliver the goods to Geoffrey. For completion of this quest, you will get 400 experience, Dried Fruit, and 900 Gold. That’s not a bad haul for a starting quest.
