There is no denying that Elden Ring has some seriously tough bosses. Radahn alone can give many a run for their money and he is one of the earlier game bosses. If you’ve managed to make your way to the Haligtree, you may have had a run-in with Elden Ring’s most difficult boss; Malenia, Blade of Miquella.

Malenia has been certified as the enemy to beat if you want a true challenge in Elden Ring. Last year, fans of the series showered a player by the name of “Let Me Solo Her” with praise for beating Malenia with nothing but two katanas and a pot on his head. Now, fans have a new hero who is getting closer to beating Malenia by the day; a goldfish by the name of Torellini.

The goldfish captured the internet’s attention when Twitter user @PointCrow posted the video on July 4 which shows his goldfish taking on Malenia using Eleonora’s Poleblade — a much-loved bleed weapon that is great against the tough swordfighter. The character was also rocking the Bull-Goat set which is great for tanking hits. Since the goldfish couldn’t dodge very easily, this was a good choice.

The fight is fairly tense but through the various hits, the goldfish prevailed and managed to beat Malenia’s first phase. Unfortunately, the video ends before the second phase comes in. If you haven’t seen Malenia’s second phase, this goldfish is already a better player than you. Since this small pet “got gud”, maybe you should give it a chance.

There are many different build types that you can use against Malenia, with bleed being the most effective. Other good builds typically use the Hoarfrost Stomp weapon art that builds up frost damage, causing a similar effect to the bleed status effect.

This fish has officially shown up many Elden Ring players and it is only a matter of time before said fish beats the boss entirely.
