There are multiple features that players have been wishing would get added to Helldivers 2. One such feature that players have asked for since the game was released is weapon customization. Well, there is no information about that today. Instead, we will be talking about another feature players have been asking for in Helldivers 2 and that is the ability to save loadouts. This is a basic mechanic in many games similar to the popular third-person shooter and it’s about time it gets added to the game.
If you have been holding onto hope that the weapon customization feature for Helldivers 2 will be added in the future, popular leaker IronS1ghts has discovered that the system is “being worked on.” It might just not be implemented for a long time.
CEO shares that he wants loadouts in Helldivers 2
Shams Jorjani has been very open in the Helldivers 2 Discord server whenever he sees the messages that players are posting. One such post that was recently responded to says, “Ability to save loadouts, please? Make it like five loadouts. Thanks.”
In response to this inquiry, Shams Jorjani stated, “I think this is something we should have. Don’t know if/when though.” The good news is that Jorjani wants this feature added to the game so there is a good chance it will be added in the future. Unfortunately, it may just take a while to get implemented. Perhaps the team is working on weapon customization first.
There is a lot going on in Helldivers 2 currently thanks to the Illuminate being added to the enemy roster and the game taking part in its first collaboration. Pilestedt has also talked about future collaborations and features being added to the game and is considering a “limited event” for the game’s enemies. We will just need to wait and see what happens though.
