Nope, you’re reading your calendar correctly. We here at Game Sandwich don’t need to follow the “rules” about when we can or can’t celebrate horror. We’re rebels like that. So what if it’s not October? We want to talk about horror now, so that’s exactly what we’re going to do!
This month already has a ton of spooky surprises to look forward to in the works. We want to highlight some more indie/hidden horror gems with early impressions for you, look back at some horror classics, and share some other fan-created works outside of just games. There’s a lot of variety coming down the pipeline, so please keep an eye on our Twitter, TikTok, and Discord for all the new content!
We understand horror isn’t for everyone, but rest assured we’ve found plenty of ways to celebrate our spooky month that isn’t only for the die-hard horror fans out there. Whether you’re a veteran of the genre who plays the latest releases only at midnight in a dark room or are mildly curious about the themes, ideas, and presentation of horror games, we invite you to join our discussion about this genre.
