No, Payday 3 is unavailable to buy on Xbox One and will likely never come to the older console. That being said, there is technically a way you can play it, but it will cost you a subscription and can eat away at your internet data cap usage. If you are an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you can stream the game to your Xbox One, but this is not the best way to play.
With a Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you can stream games without installing them. Essentially, an Xbox Series X on Microsoft’s side plays the game while your internet picks up the feed and displays it on your console. This is a great idea, but it has its downsides. For one, you must have the Ultimate subscription to stream, not just the normal Game Pass for Console or Game Pass Core subscription. Additionally, if your internet is spotty, the game will have a lot of lag and stutters. Payday 3 is already an online-only game, so your connection is very important for your gameplay.
While you can technically play Payday 3 on your Xbox One through Game Pass Ultimate, we don’t recommend it. We would say you are better off saving money and upgrading to an Xbox Series S or Series X. The Xbox One is about to hit 10 years since it was released, so you will see a lot more games skip this older hardware in favor of the new stuff.
