The Nightlords are the toughest bosses in Elden Ring Nightreign. Well, they used to be that way. Now, the big bads of Elden Ring Nightreign are the Everdark Sovereign. These tyrants appeared out of nowhere, and they require some serious teamwork to take them down. They are far tougher than your normal Nightlord fight, so you will want to be prepared if you want any hope of taking them down. Here is everything you need to know about the Everdark Sovereign in Elden Ring Nightreign.
What is an Everdark Sovereign in Elden Ring Nightreign?

The Everdark Sovereigns are new variants of the classic Elden Ring Nightreign Nightlords that you and your teammates have been steadily taking down since the game’s launch. These big bads are much tougher than their standard counterparts and will give you a run for your money. When choosing to face an Everdark Sovereign, expect the following changes to the boss:
- The boss will start on its second phase
- Additional attacks and mechanics are added in the latter half of the fight
- The boss’s health is greatly increased
- The boss is more aggressive
While the boss has received some major changes that make it far more deadly than its standard form, it is important to note that the rest of the expeditions stay the same. This means that you will still have the standard two-night run before fighting the Nightlord on the third night.
Tips for taking down the Everdark Sovereign in Elden Ring Nightreign

If you want to take down the Everdark Sovereign, you will want to make sure you are prepared. This means that you will want to heavily focus on the boss’s weakness. For Gaping Jaw, this means that you will want to gather poison weapons to make fighting it more manageable.
During your run, be sure to focus on leveling up. We recommend reaching at least level 13 before jumping into the final fight against these enhanced Nightlords. We also recommend collecting as much legendary gear as you can, as it will be extremely helpful.
Everdark Sovereign rewards in Elden Ring Nightreign
For defeating an Everdark Sovereign, you will get Sovereign Sigils. This is a new currency that is different than the standard Murk you have been collecting up to this point. You can spend Sovereign Sigils at the new vendor that appears outside Roundtable Hold after you defeat your first Everdark Sovereign.
This new vendor offers character skins, Relics, and new chalices for the Nightfarers. You can also spend the new currency to forcibly change the shifting earth currently active on the map.
