Before the Trails and Tales update, Bamboo was a pretty underutilized item in Minecraft. It used to be used merely to breed Pandas, but now it can do much more. While the Cherry Tree items will get more attention, Bamboo can be a great way to decorate your place. Here is everything you can make with Bamboo in Minecraft after the Trails and Tales update.

How to get Bamboo Blocks in Minecraft Trails and Tales
To make any of the above Bamboo items in Minecraft, you first need to make a Bamboo Block. Unlike other wood items in the game, you have to craft this block to get the other uses out of it. Travel around your world until you find a Bamboo Jungle biome. If you find Pandas, you are likely close to one. Chop down the tall Bamboo Chutes to begin gathering them.

To make one Bamboo Block, you need nine pieces of Bamboo. This essentially acts as the base wooden form you usually see with Oak, Birch, and other woods. To make Bamboo Planks, which are used to make the rest of the above items, craft one Block to make two Planks. It is not as much as the usual four, but it is still something.
For the most part, Bamboo wooden items act similarly to the rest. Instead of a Boat, you make a Raft, which doesn’t have side walls but acts the same. The Bamboo Mosaic items are a different pattern, created by making Bamboo Slabs and then placing them on top of each other in a crafting grid.
