There are plenty of crafting materials in Final Fantasy 16. This is because crafting plays a big role in the game. When you want new gear, you need to collect materials and visit Blackthorne the blacksmith at Cid’s Hideaway.
While there are plenty of standard weapons in the game that you can purchase and upgrade, there is one that is upgraded pretty consistently throughout the game. It starts off with you making Stormcry using the Wind Shard from Garudo. After a while, this weapon can be transformed into something far more powerful.
Those who wish to get more weapons will need to go out of their way to collect materials and bring them to the blacksmith. One of the more difficult crafting materials to get is White Wyrm Bones. This guide will show you how to get and use White Wyrm Bones in Final Fantasy 16.
How to get White Wyrm Bones in FF16
To get White Wyrms Bones in Final Fantasy 16, you will need to defeat the White Dragon. The White Dragon is a boss fight that appears pretty late in the story and is similar to the Akashic Dragon.
The White Dragon is encountered during the Fire in the Sky main story quest. During this quest, you will encounter the ice-imbued dragon. Defeating this large foe is pretty difficult because of the large amount of damage it can deal if you get hit by its attacks. Keep in mind that its attacks are similar to the Akashic Dragon with plenty of aerial maneuvers.
When the fight is over, you will be rewarded with three White Wyrm Bones that you can take back to Cid’s Hideaway.
How to use White Wyrm Bones in FF16
White Wyrm Bones are used for crafting back at Cid’s Hideaway. There are three items that require White Wyrm Bones to craft:
- Diamond Sword
- Silken Sash
- Diamond Armlets
Each of these items can be crafted by the Blacksmith named Blackthorne back at Cid’s Hideaway. You will also need some smaller, less valuable items to craft the items as well so make sure you are collected other resources as you go.
