Grabbing items from the dragons in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom should be on your priority list whenever you see these giant creatures. They fly through the sky harmlessly, just minding their own business, while providing some of the most useful items in the game. Farosh is the electric dragon, so be ready to deal with shock damage before you chase this beast. Here is how to get Farosh’s Dragon Horn in Tears of the Kingdom.

Where to find Farosh in Tears of the Kingdom

Farosh is most often found above the Gerudo Desert and Lake Hylia in the southwest portion of the map. With this in mind, we recommend camping out near the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower to find the electric dragon. Launch yourself into the sky and you can easily land on Farosh’s back. No matter the weather, there will always be an electric storm surrounding it, so be sure to unequip any metal weapons.

To get Farosh’s Horn, you must run to the front of the dragon. Its horn is a long yellow platform protruding from its forehead. Strike it with any weapon, melee or arrows, and the horn will shine before dropping the item for you. If you do not pick it up within a few seconds, the game will send it down to the surface in a glowing light and you will have to chase it.

You can only get one Farosh’s Horn item at a time. We recommend holding on to it and fusing it with a melee weapon for boss fights when you have it. It adds 26 fuse attack power and electric energy to your strikes. We cannot confirm as of this writing, but there is potential for these to be used in upgrades for certain armor at a Great Fairy spot. Luckily, the dragons in Tears of the Kingdom are always on the map at some point, so you can always come back later to get more after a Blood Moon if needed to get more electric dragon horns.
