With so many materials to gather in Tears of the Kingdom, knowing where to look when you need a particular one can be challenging. Sometimes you can walk around randomly and find it, but there is a lot of ground to cover. It’s always best to have a good idea of where to look. Here is how you can find some Luminous Stone in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Where to find Luminous Stone in Tears of the Kingdom
You want to look out for ore deposits to get your hands on Luminous Stone in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. They are most easily spotted at night or in caves, as they have a blue glow to them in dark environments. When you find one, break it open with a two-handed weapon or explosive. This will drop the items for you to pick up.
Best places to find Luminous Stone in Tears of the Kingdom
At this point in the early days of Tears of the Kingdom being out, we have found two spots where Luminous Stone can be easily found. The first is in a cave on Crenel Hills. There are plenty of glowing ore deposits in here to break and a Talus boss that will drop more when defeated.
The second spot is in the North Necluda Sky Archipelago. In the center, there is a launching mechanism that you can turn in a circular motion. Spin it to the floating island to the northeast and launch yourself over. There will be plenty of ore deposits to break.
Outside of the areas above, we have also found quite a few Luminous Stones in the Hebra Mountains area. There are quite a few caves here that you can explore. None of them have large deposits in a singular area like the two above, but you can find plenty.
After you have your Luminous Stones, save them for upgrading your armor at a Great Fairy Fountain. That is the best use for this material.
