Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth lets you play music to pass the time. Whether you want to play an original piece or play something created by the team at Square Enix, you can relax and spend some time practicing the musical arts. Because of this, you might want to know how to play the piano in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

The piano isn’t an easy instrument to learn. In fact, it can be quite difficult to get all of the different controls down. With enough time, you can truly master the instrument and play any piece without fail. Here is how to play to play the piano in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Be sure to impress all of the characters with your skills.

Where to find the piano in the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

There is only one small section where you can play the piano in the game’s intro and it is the same as in the demo. As soon as you get the ability to explore Nibelheim, head over to Tifa’s home. There will be a quest marker that appears on the door after you inspect the water tower.

Go inside, head up the stairs, and go to Tifa’s room. You will find the piano in the corner of her room near the wardrobe. Whenever you feel like playing, simply interact with it to acquire some sheet music. You will find plenty of other pianos later in the game, this is just the first of many.

How to play the piano in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

When you first interact with the piano, you will get some sheet music. You don’t need the sheet music to play the piano, it is only if you want to play a specific piece. The controls for the piano are as follows:

The piano is a complicated instrument to learn and even more difficult to master. You will get the hang of it after a while though. When you want to play a specific piece, press the touchpad and select the piece you want to play. You will see notes appear on the screen going toward the notes activated by the two joysticks.

As the notes come out, press the joystick in the direction of the note when it reaches the outermost circle. The closer you are to the timing of the notes, the higher your score will be. During this time, certain features like the octave changing will be turned off and happen automatically.
