Have you broken the law in Palworld and want to know how to remove the wanted status? Due to the type of game Palword is, it is hard to imagine there are laws to be broken. After all, no survival game we can think of has laws except for the laws of nature. You must hunt down creatures, collect resources, and build a shelter to keep yourself from dying.
Palworld is different than most survival games. For instance, you can catch Pals to help you in battle. These creatures can help you craft items, build a base, and more. But what happens when you break the moral code and start attacking people? Well, you become wanted. Here is how to remove the wanted status in Palworld.
What is a wanted level in Palworld?
If you haven’t seen them, there is a dedicated police force on Palpagos Island called the Palpagos Island Defense Force, or PIDF for short. If you break the law, this police force comes down on you hard. Breaking the law will result in a chase where you must deal with multiple gun-wielding 30-some-level enemies in constant hot pursuit.

Breaking the law in Palworld is actually pretty easy. All you need to do is attack an innocent villager or try to capture them using a Pal Sphere. Do either of these and you will see the wanted sign appear in the upper right corner of the screen. This is also when the chase begins.
How to remove the wanted status in Palworld
You will only escape the wanted status in two ways; let the police kill you or escape. If you decide to take the easy way out, simply stand still and the police will take you down without hesitation. You will then need to go back and collect your stuff depending on what difficulty level you are on. Of course, this isn’t ideal in most situations since you don’t want to lose all your stuff.
Option two is to try to escape the police which is much easier said than done. Unfortunately, you can’t use the fast travel system to escape as the PIDF will track you down. To escape the police, you just need to keep running and avoid getting killed. Eventually, your wanted status will disappear and you can continue life on Palpagos Island as if nothing happened.
