Are you tired of the absurd number of weapons that you are hoarding in your inventory weighing you down? Have you tried simply getting rid of them? There are a lot of weapons that you will find throughout Dead Island 2. As you progress through the game, you will find so many weapons that you probably won’t know what to do with them all. Luckily, you don’t need to hang onto everything you get your hands on. You are able to scrap some weapons that you don’t feel like keeping. Doing so will also get you some good rewards. This guide will show you how to scrap weapons in Dead Island 2.

How to destroy weapons in Dead Island 2

Scrapping weapons is useful in Dead Island 2 if you happen to fill up your inventory and can’t hold anymore. You can scrap weapons to make some room for new ones. You can also scrap weapons if you just want to get your hands on some more crafting materials. Each weapon that you scrap will get you a few materials to use for crafting better weapons.

If you want to scrap your weapons, you need to start by going into your inventory. This is done by pressing the tab key on PC, touchpad on PlayStation, or menu button on Xbox. Once you are in the menu, select the option that says inventory. This will bring you to your inventory where you can see all of your weapons.

Once you are in this menu, highlight the weapon you want to scrap. To scrap the weapon, hold down F3 on PC or the right stick if you are on PlayStation or Xbox. After a couple of seconds, the weapon will get scrapped and you will have the materials added to your inventory. Of course, if you don’t feel like scrapping weapons, you can also sell them by visiting Carlos at Emma’s house.
