There are plenty of characters to unlock in Disney Dreamlight Valley, with familiar faces ranging from Mickey to Wall-E. Since the game released, Gameloft has been sure to add more characters to the valley. The Rift in Time expansion added three more characters for you to find, including Rapunzel.
Rapunzel is the heroine from the movie Tangled and a fan-favorite character in the Disney movies. In the base game, you can unlock Mother Gothel. Now, you can unlock Rapunzel. If only Flynn was in the game as well. This guide will show you how to unlock Rapunzel in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Disney Dreamlight Valley – How to unlock Rapunzel
There are multiple steps to unlocking Rapunzel in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Below, we break down each of the steps such as where to find her and how to complete the Ancient Door quest.
Where to find Rapunzel in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To find Rapunzel in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you need to travel to Eternity Isle in the Rift in Time DLC. Afterward, progress through the story to the point where you repair the bridge leading to the Glittering Dunes and Wild Tangle.
Cross the bridge and head up the grassy hill to the Wild Tangle. Once there, follow the flowers along the river to a large stone door. Rapunzel is behind the waterfall next to the door.
How to complete The Ancient Door quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Now that you have found Rapunzel, you need to complete the Ancient Door quest. To start things off, use your Royal Hourglass to remove the Gray Floating Rocks behind the waterfall. Afterward, pick up the shining object that falls and talk to Rapunzel. You will now need to find the other two Sun Core Pieces.
The Sun Core Pieces can be found by breaking the Gray Floating Rocks around Eternity Isle. It may take a while but you will eventually get the other two pieces. Once you do, go to a crafting table and repair the Sun Core. Take the Sun Core to the door. The door will open, allowing you and Rapunzel to walk through.
Go down to the sundial below and catch the orb that is floating around. Once you catch it, place the Floating Sun Core in the Sun Mechanism on the edge of the sundial. Talk to Rapunzel and you will be tasked with searching Eternity Isle for Floating Sundial Gears.
The Sundial Gears are easy to find. Simply wander around Eternity Isle and you will see gears floating. Interact with them to pick them up. Be careful as some of them will be moving around and be more difficult to obtain. Once you have them all, bring them to Rapunzel. Shortly after this, you will meet Rapunzel at the nearby statue and the quest will be over. This will officially unlock Rapunzel and you can continue her questline with the next quest title The Tower. Be sure to also Unlock EVE in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
