Sony is bringing the Life is Strange series back to its roots with Max Caulfield. This time, however, she has witnessed a different friend get killed and must solve the mystery of her friend’s death across two parallel timelines. Like previous games in the series, you must use your abilities to interact with the world around you and discover clues to further the plot. With this game coming soon, many are wondering what systems they will be able to play it on. So, is Life is Strange: Double Exposure on PS4? Can you play it on last-gen consoles or is it PS5 and Xbox Series X/S exclusive?
Can you play Life is Strange: Double Exposure on PS4?
No. Unfortunately, Life is Strange: Double Exposure will not be on PS4. This is unfortunate for anyone who has not sprung for the newer consoles yet but it is not a surprise considering the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S are four years old. The trailer for Life is Strange: Double Exposure confirms that the game will not be on PS4 and will instead be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.
If you want to pre-order Life is Strange: Double Exposure, you can do so by going to the PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace, or the Steam page. You can also visit the game’s official website to get more information about the upcoming features and what to expect. You can expect Double Exposure to be released on all three platforms on October 29, 2024. Currently, there is no information about whether or not the game will also be enhanced on PS5 Pro but we assume that it won’t be since there are not many games getting the upgrade treatment. Currently, we know that the game will only be released on the new generation of consoles and won’t be making an appearance on the PS4 or the Xbox One.
