Wondering how many planets are in Starfield? From Bethesda, the developer of the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series, Starfield takes players beyond Earth’s atmosphere and into the vastness of space. In Starfield, you will soar across the galaxy, visiting a variety of planets. Bethesda looks to push its new RPG to infinity and beyond its previous titles.
While many speculate the scope of Starfield, it wouldn’t be wrong to say it’s Bethesda’s most ambitious title to date. Available on PC and Xbox, this RPG is sure to delight players upon launch. There are a lot of planets to explore but just how many planets are in Starfield?
Starfield – How many planets are there?
During the Xbox Games Showcase + Starfield Direct, executive producer and director Todd Howard revealed that Starfield will have over 1,000 planets. It also states on the official Starfield page of Bethesda’s website that players will be able to explore more than 1,000 planets, along with bustling cities, and landscapes untamed and wild. While exploring, you will even encounter hostile and friendly factions and develop relationships with various NPCs and recruit companions, through their new point-based persuasion system.
The combat from the trailers seems reminiscent of Fallout 4 with an obvious upgrade. This time players are not limited by solely boots-on-the-ground action and can find themselves floating in zero-g while trying to gun down and avoid enemies. Vehicle combat makes a debut as players can engage in thrilling dogfights while exploring space. Players can even board enemy vessels once they’ve disabled them. If the player can take out any enemies they encounter on board they can then add the ship to their fleet.
All of these features make Starfield an exciting game. With a release date of September 6, 2023, players will repeatedly blast off to explore as many of Starfield’s 1,000 planets as possible.
