This upcoming title by developer PocketPair has been getting a lot of buzz, with many having labeled the game as “Pokémon with guns.” This nickname has helped the game spread like wildfire. Now, many are excited to get their hands on the game when it enters early access.
For those of you who haven’t heard of Palworld, this title is an open-world multiplayer survival game. Some of the mechanics are similar to the previously stated RPG with some notable differences such as guns and the use of Pals as bullet shields. So what platforms is Palworld on? What system can you expect to play the game on when it is released in early access?
What platforms is Palworld coming to?
Palworld will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in 2024 when it enters early access as detailed in the gameplay trailer released in late 2023. This is great news for those who want to play the game on these platforms. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the game will be coming to PS4, PS5, or Nintendo Switch. At least, not for a while. In a FAQ, the devs stated “We don’t have plans for this at the moment, but will consider it during development.”
Over the past year, PocketPair has been sharing more information about Palworld. The company has even been showing off the different Pals that you can get in the game. For instance, one Pal shown is the Legendary Celestial Dragon Jetragon. This Pal has also been featured in multiple trailers as a mount.
Palworld has a planned release date of January 2024 so it should be entering early access soon. When this happens, many players are sure to flock to the title on PC via Steam and Xbox. When this happens, make sure you are ready for battle. Other players may be ruthless with their Pals.
