While Diablo IV has a sprawling main quest about angels in demons, there are also quite a few side quests that your character can pick up. They take you through the widespread map of Sanctuary and help you explore the wilds, which is fantastic. However, sometimes these exploratory side quests can get confusing. One of the earliest ones is the Menestad Coffers side quest, where you must find a lost monk. But where is Monk Bozan?
How to get to Monk Bozan in Diablo IV
When in Kyovashad, you’ll run into a man with a blue exclamation point over his head. This is Kudomyla. He will tell you about a missing tithe collector, Monk Bozan, who hasn’t come back from traveling the northern wilds. For a price, he requests you find him.
From there, head north from Kyovastad. The quest will give you a very long, blue-highlighted area to search inside, but just keep heading North until you reach the Western Ways and the Crags of Ill Wind. You’ll find Monk Bozan in the Crags of Ill Wind in a ravine, but the game prefers that you head past the ravine to a road and cliff above it, in the Western Ways. There you can see the tracks of his carriage going off said cliff. That’s when you should walk below and, instead of crossing the bridge, swerve northwards and find Monk Bozan at the base of the cliff.
What happens after you find Monk Bozan in Diablo IV?
Once you walk up the ravine and talk to Monk Bozan, he’ll request you take the tithes he’s collected straight to a nearby village: Menestad. To get to Menestad, walk East through the Western Ways area. There, you’ll find a man who will take the tithes and send a knight out to bring Bozan home. Your rewards for finishing this quest include:
- 20 Fractured Peaks Renown
- 320 Gold
- 816 XP
Whether you’re an early access player or wait until launch, side quests are a great way to explore the map and get solid EXP and loot along the way. So don’t be afraid to pick up these mini-quests and save as many Monk Bozans as possible.
