As you progress through advancing your base in Palworld, you will have to find more items. Sometimes, they can seem simple but still seem out of reach. That could be the case when you need to build a Wheat Plantation, which requires, among other things, three Wheat Seeds. You can spend hours walking around the world and not find a single wheatfield, though. Here is where to get Wheat Seeds in Palworld.
How to get Wheat Seeds in Palworld
To get Wheat Seeds in Palworld, you need to either kill or catch a Dinossom or buy the seeds from a Wandering Trader. You might think that you could get the seeds yourself from a field, but they don’t show up in the world, at least at the launch of early access.
We recommend finding the Small Settlement west of the starting area in the game. Go to this area and there is a small hut near the bonfire in the middle of the area. Go inside to find a Wandering Trader who will sell you Wheat Seeds for 100 Gold a pop. We recommend just buying three to start the Wheat Plantation. After that, the field will keep reproducing the Wheat itself.
Dinossoms are large grass Pals that walk around on two feet. We have seen them start out around the level 15 area, so you might need to do a little bit of training and leveling to get one. We rarely found these appear around the starting islands area.
They don’t appear to be too common. In our case, we saw one appear, and then it was quite a while before we saw another. Definitely catch them when you see them. If you are directly looking for Wheat Seeds, the Wandering Trader is your better bet.
