There is no denying that many fans are wondering, “Will Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth be on PC?” After all, Final Fantasy 7 Remake was put on PC after it was released first on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the continuation of the game, being the second of three chapters in the story. We have already seen the game get some major traction across social media and more leading up to the release date.
With every game that is released, some fans will inevitably ask what platforms the game will be on. It has been no different with Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. So, will Final Fantasy VII Rebirth be on PC? If not at launch, will it come to PC later on?
Is Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on PC?
No. Currently, there is no information about Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth coming to PC. So far, the game has been announced as a PlayStation exclusive. Even more, FF7 Rebirth will only be coming to PlayStation 5. It won’t be on PS4 like the previous title. So, anyone who was hoping to play the game on PC when it launches at the end of February will be sorely disappointed if they don’t have a PS5.
There is a bit of a silver lining here, however. We do know that it is only a PS5 console exclusive until May 29, 2024. After that point, the game can presumably be ported to any other console Square Enix wishes, including PC.
There has been a lot of information released about Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth from the playable characters to information about the fast travel system. There are many fans who are also hoping for a demo prior to the release of the game. Hopefully, we will get an update about a possible PC port in the future. For the time being, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be a PS5-exclusive title.
