Since its release, many fans of the game have been asking for an expansion or DLC to continue the fight in Krat or go beyond. Fans might be getting their wish granted by the blue fairy. Is Lies of P getting DLC?
Yes! Lies of P will officially be getting an expansion. This was confirmed by the game’s director Jiwon Choi in his director’s letter released in October. In the video, he stated that the team is “fully dedicating ourselves to the development of the DLC.” This is exciting news for those who are fans of the base game and want another reason to pick it up and run through Krat.
In the director’s letter, Choi also stated that they are looking for additional developers to help them craft the upcoming expansion. Multiple sketches from the upcoming DLC were also added to the video. The images showcased what appears to be a frozen core and a pirate ship.
Jiwon Choi stated that those images only “scratches the tip of an iceberg.” There is much more that will be unveiled as time goes on. For now, what has been shown seems to hint at travels to a new land that could possibly be frozen.
