Helldivers 2 is back in a big way after the recent patch, which buffed many of the game’s weapons and restored them to working order. With that being said, Arrowhead is not stopping there as the team is already looking forward to the next patch. When asked about what is coming up on X, Pilestedt gave a small glimpse into what we can expect to see in the next patch for Helldivers 2. Pilestedt mentioned that the Helldivers 2 team is “looking at the Jump Pack” for the next patch. This has many fans excited as they believe a buff to many of the game’s non-destructive stratagems may be coming in the near future.
Recently, Arrowhead released a patch which buffed many of the game’s weapons. So far, the patch has been well-received aside from a few minor bugs that happen with each patch. After the patch was released, Pilestedt posted on his X account about a bug with the personal shield generator. In response to this post, user @Stoukeer commented, “Is there any plans on buffing Jump Pack cooldown next patch?” Pilestedt responded to this by saying, “We are looking at the Jump Pack next patch.”

This is exciting news as it shows that Arrowhead is focused on buffing other items in the game outside of those used strictly for combat purposes. The user posted about Pilestedt’s response on the Helldivers 2 Reddit page. In response, many have been talking about how they would like to see a patch that buffs many of the game’s non-destructive stratagems such as the Jump Pack, Shield Pack, and Resupply Backpack.
While we cannot confirm that there will be another patch focusing on buffing many of the game’s stratagems and weapons, we can at least confirm that the Jump Pack will be a part of the next patch. Hopefully, the game will get more buffs in the future, allowing it to surpass what it was at launch. After all, many have agreed that most of the game’s patches have made Helldivers 2 worse. It is good to see that things are starting to look up.
