For a while now, fans have been making suggestions about features that they would like to see added to Helldivers 2. Everything from modular weapons and mechs to additional Stratagems has been requested. One detail about the game that is often overlooked unless you know about them is supply lines. These lines aren’t visible on the current map and only appear in a handful of Helldivers 2 companion apps that you can download. This will change in a future update according to community manager Spitz.

In a post on the official Helldivers 2 Discord, Spitz stated, “It’s been heavily suggested that supply lines, liberation, and decay rates be implemented into the Galatic Map.” They go on to say, “This is something that is actively being worked on as a direct result of feedback.”

That’s right. Not only will the supply lines be added but so will liberation and decay rates. These have been high-requested features that have only become more wanted in recent events. Many have requested supply lines appear on the map because of the recent Martale gambit to win the defense of Charon.

User Miserable-Chip6383 posted Spitz’s post on Reddit for everyone to see. One user commented saying, “Yeah Martale really highlights why the communication needs to take place in the game. The majority of the player base doesn’t look at the subreddit or discord so they won’t receive such news. The only way they know how to direct their efforts at the moment is if it comes in the form of a Major Order.”

More users suggested adding in a managed democracy voting system so players can vote for major orders or even make suggestions as to where to send Helldivers throughout the day. This will help manage events such as the defense major order and help prevent planets from falling into enemy hands.
