Helldivers 2 leaks pop up consistently thanks to players who are constantly datamining the game for new information. It is because of these players that we learned new information about the Freedom’s Flame warbond well before Sony leaked information about it. It is also how players have seen images of the Illuminate despite them not being in the game yet. Now, some Helldivers 2 leakers have shared information about a possible new mission or objective that involves the Super Earth president. What kind of mission can we expect this to be? Let’s break it down.
Two leaks were posted to the Helldivers 2 leaks Reddit page by user NullPlays93541. The first of these posts is what appears to be a presidential candidate model. It is important to note that the user said this could be the Super Earth president or the Fleet Admiral and that popular leaker Irons1ghts helped him get the information on it.
The second post shows the models of the presidential mansion. At least, the holo table model as stated in the post. This large building could be the center of a large battle. Again, NullPlays93541 credits Irons1ghts/Bamboos1ghts with the discovery of these models. However, they do state that “This is tied to a Mission or Obj and will act as a defense mission.”
Our initial thoughts jump to the Illuminate. Could this be a defense mission where we are introduced to the Illuminate while trying to save the life of the Super Earth president? This would make for an interesting way to bring the Illuminate into Helldivers 2 via a new mission type that is around for a limited time or acts an as in-game event. We also think it could be a good mission for the bots should they make their way to Super Earth by some means. Perhaps they managed to elude the Helldivers and make their way to Super Earth undetected. Whatever the reason that Arrowhead gives, the Helldivers will be there to complete the mission.
