There is no denying that one of the best moments in Helldivers 2 history was blowing up Meridia and destroying the Supercolony. After the in-game event, many took to social platforms to share images of the newly-created black hole. Of course, this black hole most likely holds a sinister secret but we will need to deal with that later. For now, many are just happy that the plan unfolded perfectly. Now… what Helldivers 2 planet is next on the chopping block? Could it be Menkent? What about Viridia Prime?
User Soft_Sun2218 took to Reddit to ask the community which planet they would want to blow up if another one were on the metaphorical chopping block. In the post, the user said, they “would pick Hellmire since we keep losing it and it’s really annoying to play there.” If you guess Hellmire at the start of this article, you would be correct.
Many users jumped onto the post to state their hatred for Hellmire. One user commented, “Before reading the comments: It’s gonna be Hellmire. After reading the comments: Yup, it’s Hellmire.” The planet is very hated because of its desolate design, drain on player stamina, and terrifying fire tornados that can spawn at a moment’s notice.
Hellmire has always been a hated planet. Some even said that they wish it wasn’t always in the rotation and that it would get moved to be an outer rim planet. The other planet that players agree should go is Menkent because it has the same issue with fire tornados and heat. After both of these planets disappear into the void, players have their sights on Cyberstan – another mostly hated map. Hopefully, Arrowhead will have players destroy another planet in the future when a bot colony becomes too powerful or when another Supercolony forms. We know players are itching to blow another planet up and have another cinematic black hole moment.
