The Illuminate have been slowly attacking in Helldivers 2, altering the galactic war in a way that is both exciting to players and terrifying to the galactic order. A recent Helldivers 2 leak shows that the Illuminate’s attacks are far from over. Our soldiers will need reinforcements if they hope to combat the tyranny of the squids. Luckily, it was revealed that Helldivers 2 will soon be coming to Xbox. This is just the thing PlayStation and PC players need, as the recent Illuminate Leak shows big plans are in store.

Helldivers 2 Leak Reveals Illuminate Plans

If you thought the rest of the galaxy was safe from the squid menace, you’d surely be mistaken. Popular Helldivers 2 leaker Iron_Sights on X recently revealed that the Illuminate army will begin targeting “other planets” using “large amounts of monoliths.”

In the post, the leaker stated, “A new planet effect has been added, allowing the Illuminate to set up large amounts of monoliths on a single planet.” They went on to say, “These monoliths can be used to target other planets, manipulating their gravitational pull in some way.” As always, “Our goal is to stop them.”

This leak relates to another Helldivers 2 post Iron_Sights made a while back about the Illuminate Gravitational Monoliths. At the time, the leaker stated, “The Illuminate will charge monoliths with Dark Fluid to harness gravitational energy, allowing them to manipulate the gravity of other celestial bodies.”

We aren’t sure exactly when these monoliths will be added to the game, or when we will see them used on the first planet, but Arrowhead may use these as a way to welcome the new Helldivers from Xbox to the game. Keep your eyes peeled in August for any and all Illuminate movement, as that may be the time they strike.
