How long can you expect to be playing Sea of Stars? This role-playing game created by Sabotage Studio is inspired by retro RPGs like Final Fantasy and Breath of Fire. The updated style mimics that of games like Octopath Traveler and it shows that much care was put into it.

Like other RPGs, you can probably expect to play Sea of Stars for a while. After all, most RPGs have optional content like side quests, mini-games, and dungeons to complete. Trust us when we say that Sea of Stars has a similar amount of content for you to partake in that will make your journey take longer if you decide to participate in it. Exactly how long can you expect to play the game? How long is Sea of Stars?

How long does it take to beat Sea of Stars?

If you don’t plan on playing most of the side content, you can expect your playthrough of Sea of Stars to take around 20 – 25 hours. That is just as long as most RPGs nowadays, if not longer. After all, some games like Fallout 4 can be beaten in around 20 hours if you don’t complete all the extra content.

While Sea of Stars isn’t the longest RPG to come out in the past year, it certainly has enough content to keep you busy for a while. Luckily, the game can be beaten fairly quickly so you can get to other games on your list. This fall is a pretty busy season after all.

How long does it take to complete everything in Sea of Stars?

What if you decide to try and complete everything that is on the to-do list in Sea of Stars? Well, those who are completionists can expect the game to take around 25-30 hours. The website, HowLongToBeat, states that the game and all of its side content can be beaten within 26.5 hours.

If you compare this to other games, the Sea of Stars is relatively short. Most Final Fantasy games can easily take up to 100 hours if you include all the side content.
