Have you been walking around the Old World in Content Warning when suddenly you get flipped upside down and gangling in the air? If you are not paying attention to what is above you, you could be grabbed by a monster, often referred to as a Ceiling Star. It doesn’t do much outside of that, but can you survive it? Here is how to escape the ceiling monster in Content Warning.

How to get away from the Ceiling Star in Content Warning

To escape the ceiling monster in Content Warning, you are going to need help from a team member. They will need to throw an item at the monster itself. To throw an item, have something in your hand and hold Q. When you let go, the item will be tossed. It will then drop whoever they are holding, and they can leave safely. Just don’t walk under it again.

Sometimes, there will already be an item sitting beneath the Ceiling Star. This offering is meant to act as bait to try and get a grabby SpookTuber to get into their clutches.

The best way to avoid the ceiling monster in Content Warning is to have someone with a flashlight looking up toward the ceiling when exploring new areas. The Ceiling Star doesn’t move on its own, so when you spot it and point it out to your teammates, you know just to avoid that area of the room. For this reason, we also recommend always walking with at least one person near you. Even if you were holding something, the trapped player cannot release themselves.

If you don’t want to get rid of any items your team paid for, we recommend grabbing a bone or other item you find lying around the Old World. They can be found relatively easily and don’t do anything for you when you go to return. Be quick, though. As your friend is dangling, something else could be on its way to pose a real threat to you.
