Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time added new materials to the game. Now, you can collect new crafting materials like Amber, Zinc, Quartz, and even Copper. Of course, just like in the base game, these materials can only be found in specific areas.

Where to find Copper in Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time
Copper is pretty easy to get in Disney Dreamlight Valley. All you need to do is use your Royal Pickaxe on rock spots in the following biomes of Eternity Isle:
- The Docks
- The Courtyard
- The Overlook
- The Ruins
- The Plains
- The Wastes
- The Oases
- The Borderlands
- The Grasslands
- The Promenade
- The Grove
- The Lagoon
Every biome will of Eternity Isle will give you access to this crafting material. You can also obtain Copper by breaking the copper rocks sitting around Eternity Isle. Of course, you won’t be able to break these right away.
How to break Copper Rocks in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Copper Rocks such as the ones in the image above can only be broken once you have upgraded your Royal Pickaxe. This is done by progressing through the Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time main storyline. Completing the first quest of the DLC will get you the ability to destroy these rocks. Jafar will grant you the upgrade at the end of the quest.
With the upgrade obtained, you will be able to reach new areas in Eternity Isle. You will also be able to reach the area where EVE is hiding, granting you access to more residents and more quests.
