The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is introducing some new materials to the world of Hyrule. Sure, you can spend your time cooking, but if you want to construct contraptions with Link’s new abilities, you will want to get your hands on some Zonai Charges. These items allow you to power those fancy machines you will eventually build.

Luckily, getting Zonai charges is fairly simple. All it takes is some good coordination and a little bit of force. By that, we mean a lot of force. After all, Link isn’t handed anything in life. This guide will show you how to get Zonai Charges in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Where to find Zonai Charges in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

When it comes to gathering materials in Tears of the Kingdom, they can be found all over the place. You can spot items in trees, on cliff walls, and even in the sky. There is no limit as to where you can find materials.

If you want to get your hands on Zonai Charges, you need to locate Zonai Constructs. These come in different shapes and sizes with the first ones being found on the tutorial sky island.

When you destroy a Zonai Construct, it will drop a Zonai Charge for you to pick up. This power source can then be used to power Zonai machines. When you are powering a machine, you will see a battery symbol appear. When the battery symbol depletes, the charge will be gone. Make sure to stock up on charges so you don’t fall out of the sky on a makeshift aircraft.

As you progress through the game, the Zonai Construct enemies will grow stronger. You can spot these enemies thanks to their aesthetic that looks reminiscent of the Guardians from Breath of the Wild.
