Are you looking to unlock Chem Bombs in Dead Island 2? Are fires getting in your way? Chem Bombs are one of the many Curveballs you can unlock as you progress through Dead Island 2. Each Curveball in the game has a unique ability that sets each of them apart from one another. The Chem Bombs apply debuffs to the zombies and can aid you in exploration by acting as a fire suppressant.

You won’t get access to Chem Bombs right away in the game. You will have to do a bit of exploring. Luckily, it shouldn’t take you too long to get your hands on them. This guide will show you how to unlock Chem Bombs in Dead Island 2.

Where to find Chem Bombs in Dead Island 2

Most of the Curveballs you can get in the game are found simply by playing through the campaign or by completing side missions. To obtain Chem Bombs, you need to progress through the story to the point where you reach the Halperin Hotel. Once there, continue through the hotel until you reach an area filled with fire. To progress, you will need to pick up the Chem Bomb.

Once you pick the Chem Bomb up, you will permanently have it unlocked and will be able to equip it at any time. The Chem Bomb applies the Traumatized and Soggy debuffs to zombies that are caught in its blast. The Soggy debuff allows you to easily electrocute the zombie that is affected. Chem Bombs are also useful for exploration since they can be used to put out fires when you don’t have a source of water on hand. There are more Curveballs that you can find throughout the game such as Shuriken and Meat Bait. Make sure to keep an eye out for these as you progress through the game.
