The release of Life is Strange: Double Exposure is coming up soon and there are still many questions surrounding the game. This new Life is Strange game brings back Max from the original game. However, this time she does not have her classic rewind ability. Instead, she will have the ability to move between timelines and you will be using this ability to solve the murder of her friend Safi. Since this is a continuation of Max’s storyline, one question is still looming over everyone’s heads: what happened to Chloe Price? Is Chloe in Life is Strange: Double Exposure? Let’s break that down.

Will Chloe be in Life is Strange: Double Exposure?

The short answer is yes. Chloe will make some sort of appearance in Life is Strange: Double Exposure. However, in an interview, Jon Stauder, director of Life is Strange: Double Exposure, stated that the new title will “respect both endings” of the original game. Because of this, how much of an appearance Chloe makes in the game is dependent on what ending you chose in the original game. Evidence of what ending you chose will appear in “Max’s thoughts, her journal, her SMS, and her interactions with other characters.”

Recently, YouTuber Cucu on Games released a video explaining that they played Double Exposure for a brief period. During this early access, their game was automatically set to the “sacrifice Chloe ending.” They showed that the only mention they found of Chloe was in Joyce’s social page on Max’s phone. The YouTuber also said they “spent a good few minutes jumping between timelines, looking through all of the texts, and there was no difference.” Because of this, we assume that you will not be hopping between realities where Chloe is dead and alive. Instead, she will be alive in both realities or dead in both of them depending on the ending that you chose in the original game.
