The Marvel Rivals have done it again. The devs have focused on what players wanted and decided to add a customization option to the game. This feature allows you to customize some character skins in Marvel Rivals. Unfortunately, only select costumes are currently available for customization, but more should be added in the future. Let’s break down everything you need to know about the costume customization in Marvel Rivals.

Speaking of changes. Marvel Rivals will be getting a major change after season two. The devs will be shortening the seasons and adding characters at a faster rate.

Marvel Rivals announces costume customization option for skins

The Marvel Rivals devs announced the recolor option on the Marvel Rivals X page. The post states, “You can change your favorite costumes’ color combo directly in the costumes tab starting April 17, at 9:00 AM UTC.” It also states, “Just head to the store, grab your unlock, and dive into the look that fits your vibe.”

The four skins that were shown off are Magik’s Punkchild skin, Psylocke’s Vengeance skin, Winter Soldier’s Blood Soldier skin, and Luna Snow’s Mirae 2099 skin.

How to unlock costume customization in Marvel Rivals

To unlock a character’s costume customization in Marvel Rivals, you first need to head to the character select screen and choose the character you want to recolor. From there, select the character’s skin and choose the customize option that appears. This will bring you to the screen that lets you purchase the new skin color.

If you don’t already have the skin unlocked, you will not be able to purchase the recolor option. Instead, you must purchase the skin first. Once that is done, you can buy the recolor option for 600 Unstable Molecules. With the recolor option unlocked, simply choose the color you wish to use for the skin from the menu, and it will change the character’s look.
