Apparently, the latest update to Marvel Rivals included some more changes than NetEase let us know about. According to the below post on the game’s r/marvelrivals subreddit, a bunch of male characters in the game now have slightly larger behinds. Perhaps in an attempt to bring them more in line with the female representation already at play? Regardless, fans seem to be in favor of the Marvel Rivals male asset update.

A little more detail about the buff of man buns.

Which Marvel Rivals heroes got the male asset buff?

The post above shows how Winter Soldier, Wolverine, Moon Knight, Star-Lord, and Mister Fantastic all have a little more junk in their trunks. Some are posting that Wolverine in his Deadpool & Wolverine skin even has a little more bulge in the front as well. While we can definitely get behind this update, we are curious to know if “America’s ass” got any changes at all for Captain America.

I don't know why no one talks about this. But they have buffed a lot of men's butts and the lumps between their legs.

Looking at these comparison photos definitely shows that Mister Fantastic and Star-Lord definitely could have used a bit more cake, in particular. Their models while standing appeared to be missing a lot. We have seen people say it wasn’t so bad for Star-Lord when he was running, so maybe this was to fix an unintended nerf when the characters stand still.

Needless to say, Marvel Rivals isn’t afraid to get a little risque with its skins. The additions of Emma Frost and Invisible Woman definitely brought some “eye opening” skins to the store for players to purchase. We highly doubt that skins like that will slow down in any way in the near future, but to this point, the conversation about oversexualization has been focused on the female characters. This might be NetEase showing that they’re not afraid to have some fun with the men as well.
