Now that Marvel Rivals is out of its honeymoon period, players are going more in-depth with each character, learning the ins and outs of how each one operates. It is thanks to this that players have discovered that not everything is perfect in the land of Marvel Rivals. In fact, there are some characters that need a bit of a rework. Magneto appears to be one of these characters as a Marvel Rivals fan discovered that his ult might be busted.

Recently, a Marvel Rivals fan discovered that Moon Knight’s ultimate is actually dealing double damage and has a larger radius than what it says. Another player discovered a bug with Invisible Woman that makes it easy to tell if you are playing against bots.

Magneto is a popular character in Marvel Rivals, being one of the highest-picked characters in the game. While he has a high pick rate, the win rate with Magneto is quite low. This could be because players don’t understand how to use him correctly or because his ultimate ability is busted.

Reddit user Wet_Birthday_Card claims, “You’re not bad at hitting Magneto ults, it’s just bugged.” In a post on the Marvel Rivals SubReddit, the user shared a video of them using Magneto’s ult Meteor M. Instead of hitting the well-placed Luna training dummy; the video clearly shows the orb go right through the character before exploding on the other side against the wall, dealing no damage.

This clearly shows that when using Magneto’s ult, you should be aiming for the ground or for a wall instead of directly at a character. This will prevent you from missing as often as you might be. After all, Magneto has a strong ultimate ability that deals splash damage, allowing you to easily wipe out a character if they are caught in the blast. At least this isn’t as bad as some character getting a debuff if you run the game on a lower frame rate.
