There is no denying that Invisible Woman is a popular character in Marvel Rivals. Since she was released alongside Mister Fantastic at the start of season one, her pick rate as risen to around 18%. This makes her one of the highest-picked characters in any match just under Cloak and Dagger and above Doctor Strange. Invisible Woman became so popular after her announcement that even NetEase was surprised. “Google searches for Invisible Woman went up by 3,000%,” according to the Marvel Rivals devs and they were very surprised.

While Invisible Woman may be popular, one of the least popular Marvel Rivals characters is actually the most powerful and fans have only recently discovered this. Fans have also been asking for more Vanguard options in future seasons.

Marvel Rivals Invisible Woman broke the internet after announcement

A big selling point for Marvel Rivals is the cast of iconic and niche characters that fill out the roster. While characters such as Venom, Spider-Man, and even Iron Man are great ways to draw players in, other characters such as Luna Snow, Jeff the Land Shark, and Squirrel Girl, are who make players stick around. These characters have each seen an increase in popularity since the game was released back in December 2024.

While the Fantastic Four are undoubtedly popular heroes already, Invisible Woman has especially received increased attention from fans. When she was announced for season one of Marvel Rivals, “Google searches for Invisible Woman went up 3,000%,” said Danny Koo, executive producer at Marvel Games in an interview with PC Gamer.

Since Invisible Woman was released, she has received multiple skins that show off her… um… assets and that has further increased her popularity in the game. Many gravitated toward using the Malice skin thanks to the way it… enhances certain features of the character. Of course, while many were certainly drawn in by the character’s physical appearance, we are sure that there are also many interested in Invisible Woman’s comic book history as well. NetEase certainly does know how to appease its fanbase though.
