NetEase has done a great job of consistently adding new characters to Marvel Rivals. Previously, the team stated that it would be adding a new character to the game every six weeks, and they have not disappointed. After all, the first season of the game added the Fantastic Four, and shortly after, we got Emma Frost. Earlier this year, the team also added Blade to the game. Now, the newest hero for season 4.5 has officially been revealed, and it is none other than Daredevil – a character that players have been asking to be added for some time.
Marvel Rivals Daredevil Revealed with Gameplay Trailer
In a new gameplay trailer titled Daredevil: The Man Without Fear, NetEase unveiled the sightless hero and all of his moves. One of the major abilities that Daredevil will have is called Sonic Pursuit. This ability allows him to mark a target, allowing him to see the target through obstacles and terrain. His second ability is called Righteous Cross, an ability that lets him hit hard with both of his billy clubs at the same time. He can also use his billy clubs to close the gap between him and an enemy.
Speaking of his clubs, Daredevil is able to toss them at enemies. They can then ricochet into additional targets, allowing him to hit multiple foes at once. His ultimate ability allows him to deal increased damage to the target he has marked with Sonic Pursuit. While this isn’t an ability that affects a large area of the battlefield like some, it is useful for dealing with those annoying players.
Daredevil is going to be the next hero coming to the game as part of the season 4.5 update. Unsurprisingly, he will be a duelist, increasing the number in the game to 22. Everyone will gain access to this new hero when the update goes live on October 10.
