Life is Strange: Double Exposure is going to be released soon for those who have early access via the ultimate edition of the game. With the release date looming overhead, many fans are excited to see where Max Caulfield’s latest adventure takes her. The last time players controlled Max, they unravelled a mystery at her school and helped save Chloe from certain doom. This time, Max is once again unravelling a mystery but this time it is across two different parallel universes. Luckily, Max is no longer the shy girl she was in her youth, she is now “a lot more daring and bold” according to Hannah Telle – Max’s voice actor. So how has Max changed in Life is Strange: Double Exposure and what more has Hannah Telle revealed about the game in the latest interview?

In a recent interview with many cats running around, Hannah Telle spoke about Max’s character and how she has changed from the original Life is Strange to Double Exposure. She described Max as being her “same vulnerable and relatable self.” She also said that Max has “gone through a lot of life experiences that have kind of made her become a bit more confident, daring, and bold.” On top of this, Max has “really grown into herself” and “is confident in who she is.”

You can see this new bold attitude in the Life is Stange: Double Exposure gameplay trailer. Instead of seeming shy, Max is open and more playful. This will undoubtedly show even more throughout the game as you attempt to solve Safi’s murder across two timelines.

Throughout the interview, Hannah Telle spoke about what it was like to fully embody Max. This time around, Square Enix used motion capture for all of Max’s movements. Telle said, “It’s my voice, my face, my body and everything going into the character and it’s been a really incredible experience to figure out exactly how to play her from head to toe.” We will see more of how the game turned out and see more of Telle’s work when the game is released in two waves starting on October 15 and October 29.
