The award-winning RPG from Free League Publishing, Blade Runner, is getting a new expansion titled Replicant Rebellion. This new campaign allows players to join the ranks of the Replicant Underground set in Los Angeles in the year 2037. It is set in the same time and place as the Blade Runner core rulebook, but this time you play from the opposite perspective. Players can run from the Blade Runners all while dealing with law enforcement, mega corporations, and exposing corruption.
Replicant Rebellion will be launched via Kickstarter on May 28, 2024 at 6pm US Pacific Time. You can currently sign up to be notified for when the Kickstarter launches. You’ll want those notifications if you plan on backing within the first 24 hours to earn a special bonus item that Free League Publishing will reveal soon. All backers will also get a PDF copy of the game so long as the campaign is fully funded. Another reward includes an Asset Pack with physical and digital game handouts.

Replicant Rebellion will include in-depth history and lore of the Replicant Underground, charting its course and impact throughout the Blade Runner universe. There will be several new player archetypes, new rules, and full adventures that are ready to play.
Fans of the 2022 Blade Runner RPG will be glad to know the main creative team is behind Replicant Rebellion. Tomas Härenstam is the game director and lead designer, Joe LeFavi is the setting writer, and the cover artist is Martin Grip. The game uses the Year Zero engine popular in Free League Publishing’s games encompassing the Alien RPG, Tales From the Loop, and Forbidden Lands. Though it is revised and customized to align with the needs of Blade Runner.
In this big city of dazzling lights and moral contradictions, Replicant Rebellion flips the famous script of the beloved Blade Runner universe and dares you to explore how much you’re willing to lose for a cause that’s sacrificing it all. Yet regardless the price, the Rebellion must live on. – Free League Publishing product page
