It has become a tradition for specific playlists to show up in Call of Duty games. Typically, popular maps will get a strict playlist where you can play multiple game modes or even a single game mode repeatedly on the same map. Back in the olden days of Black Ops, the map of choice was Nuketown. Fans of the series would flock to this playlist for a chaotic, high-velocity mayhem. It looks like this playlist may be returning. At least, that is what one worthy leaker on X has to say. Let’s break this down.
Recently, Black ops 6 was released and it has surprisingly been dubbed as one of the best that has been made in recent years. It looks like Activision has finally struck a win with the community despite the game’s controversy, which always needs an internet connection to function. With that being said, if you are a fan of the series and want to dive into a fan-favorite map playlist in the near future, you might be able to. Recently, @SemtexLeaks on X shared some information from the game’s files.
In the post, the leaker shows that the popular Nuketown playlist will be coming back in the near future. This 24/7 playlist will feature the game modes Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, Hardpoint, and Kill Order. The leak also shows that there will be a “moshpit of new game modes featuring Kill Order and Intercept.”
Along with the standard 24/7 Nuketown playlist, there will be a hardcore version for those who want a more difficult experience. We are not surprised that the Nuketown playlist is making a comeback considering it was very popular in previous Black Ops games. Word has also been spreading that more classic game modes will be returning to Black Ops 6 and will start getting implemented in the near future. In the meantime, we can only hope that Activision fixes some of the issues already plaguing the game’s multiplayer mode.
