Borderlands 4 has been on many gamers’ minds since the release of the first trailer some months back. Rumors have been going wild about the upcoming looter-shooter and fans are eager to learn more about their next trek on Pandora and beyond. Fans will be getting their hunger filled soon according to Randy Pitchford as he has already teased that a new Borderlands 4 trailer will be dropping here soon. We can only imagine that it will be shown at The Game Awards.
The first teaser trailer for Borderlands 4 was dropped three months ago and it features Pandora’s moon Elpis crashing into a new world. After the trailer was shown, many fans spent their time breaking it down and even discovered special messages and what appears to be Handsome Jack’s Mask. There are also some wild expectations for the upcoming looter-shooter ranging from the new Vault Hunters to new mechanics and returning characters.
Borderlands 4 trailer teased by Randy Pitchford
The next Borderlands 4 trailer was teased by Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford. Known for being unable to keep a secret, the CEO posted the following on his X Page. “Cooking up a new Borderlands 4 trailer and it’s badass AF. Latest render is knocking me out. I’m not supposed to talk about it yes, but idgaf. I’m freaking out.”

He went on to say in an additional post that the “First frames of the trailer are the last frames of the teaser.” So, we can expect to see the trailer begin with the psycho mask being held up by a metal hand surrounded by flames. Where it will go from there, we can only speculate.
As far as when the trailer will drop, it is unclear but it makes sense for Gearbox to show it during The Game Awards. After all, that is the next big showcase before the end of the year. Look forward to the trailer dropping sometime in the near future.
