Chaosium will present Call of Cthulhu – Live in the Library at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The initial tickets sold out in only a couple of hours. But due to popular demand, new tickets are now available for a limited time directly through the National Library of Scotland.
Taking place on August 23rd and 24th, Call of Cthulhu – Live in the Library is three-hour actual play show. The Keeper of Arcane Lore is Mike Mason, award-winning game designer of Call of Cthulhu. The players will be led by actor Josephine McAdam who recently appeared on the highly successful Call of Cthulhu actual play series, Graveyards of Arkham. As of now, the rest of the cast is being kept under wraps.

This actual play will be set in 1920s Edinburgh. If you don’t know anything about the Cthulhu games, you can expect plenty of mystery, intrigue, and horror. This fun event is presented in collaboration with the National Library of Scotland and the University of Edinburgh’s History and Games Lab at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This festival runs nearly the entire month of August and is a celebration of the arts and culture. This festival attracts people from around the world. People take to the stage across the city at bars, parks, theaters, and concert halls to entertain and inspire. This makes it the perfect platform for a show like Call of Cthulhu.
