Concord is the upcoming hero-shooter being developed by Firewalk Studios. We got our first look at the gameplay of Concord at the recent PlayStation State of Play where the hero-shooter did not steal the show. Instead, many debated whether or not we needed another hero-shooter like Overwatch. Despite this, the game is moving forward as planned with the Concord beta happening in July. Firewalk Studios announced the pre-order details for Concord as the pre-order went live today.
If you are looking to get early access to Concord, you will need to pre-purchase the game on PC or PS5. Concord is a $40 game so you will need to fork over the full price to pre-order it online. Once pre-ordered, you will get early access to the title via the closed-beta weekend. This is set for July but no official date has been confirmed. There will be more information about the beta in the coming weeks. Not only will you get access to the beta, but you will also get four additional codes to give to friends so they can get access as well.
You can also get early access to the game when it launches in August if you choose to shell out some extra cash for the digital deluxe edition. This will cost you $60 and get you up to 72 hours early access to the title.
The digital deluxe edition also includes the Northstar Freegunner Pack which gives you skins for Lennox, Haymar, Star Child, Vale, 1-0FF, and 11 other characters in the game. Should you decide to pre-order the game, you will also get the Monarch Pack. This pack includes the “Monarch Frontliner outfit for Vale and Dead Reckoner weapon skins for her sniper rifle and side-arm.” If Concord really wants to cement itself as a worthy contender to games like Overwatch, it will need to prove its worth during the July beta weekend.
