Gameloft developers officially announced the release date for the Disney Dreamlight Valley A Rift in Time expansion. Not only that, they even shared a bunch of information about what we can expect when the DLC releases later this year. During the Disney Dreamlight Valley Showcase live-stream event, the devs revealed multiple new biomes, characters, animal companions, and more.
To start things off, the developers announced that the Disney Dreamlight Valley A Rift in Time release date is set for December 5, 2023. This is the same day that the game leaves early access and gets its full official release.
As shown above, the expansion will release in three chapters over the course of the next year. In December, players will get access to Eternity Isle along with new characters Rapunzel, Gaston, and EVE. Not only that, players will also get access to a new Royal Tool. Eternity Isle consists of three new biomes for everyone to explore. These are:
- Ancient Landing – An ancient civilization that fell to ruin
- Glittering Dunes – a large desert biome
- Wild Tangle – A diverse jungle biome that is home to Rapunzel
Each of these biomes will offer new furniture items for you to decorate the land with and even bring back to Dreamlight Valley. These new biomes will also contain new plants for you to harvest such as Strawberries, Cinnamon, and Figs. New recipes like Poutine and Arepas were shown as well. There was even an Atlantis Guardian that appeared in the background of Eternity Isle!
Your new Royal Tool is called the Royal Hourglass. This has the ability to undo the effects of the time rift and alter certain parts of the environment. Finally, new animals will be joining the world of Disney Dreamlight Valley. As shown in the showcase, there will be Capybaras and Monkeys.
